Age UK Lewisham and Southwark (AUKLS) is a local charity that supports older people challenged by issues including illness and poverty. It also supports people who are isolated and suffer from mental health distress such as depression or alcohol dependency.

Through their free and confidential Information & Advice (I&A) service they supply people with knowledge and advice on matters such as benefits, housing, debt and community care. This is provided through their telephone advice line, phone appointments, weekly drop-ins and home visits.

As well as providing information and advice, they also now run a low cost food delivery service called Food2You for those over 50 who need shopping delivered to their door.
